The bill (Reg. No. 4582) suggests reduce notary actions; minimize
consumers’ expenditures on notary services; secure accessibility of all population
layers to such services; abolish, in a number of cases, requirements regarding
mandatory notarial certification of transactions and facts of legal significance, as
well as notarial
certification of documents in order to make them legally valid.
The bill suggests amend the Labour Code of Ukraine and the laws “On state regulation
of production and turnover of ethyl, cognac and fruit alcoholic beverages and
tobacco products”, “On export, import and return of cultural values” and
several other laws.
Committee members upheld the bill, adoption of which will allow reduce the number of notary actions; narrow requirements of the existing legislation pertaining to mandatory notarial certification of documents’ copies; and help citizens and legal entities avoid complication of the procedure of documents execution, etc.
